Love is a
universal concept related to the affinity between beings, defined in different
ways according to the different ideologies and points of view (artistic,
scientific, philosophical, religious). Usually, and fundamentally in the West,
it is interpreted as a feeling related to affection and attachment, and
resultant and producer of a series of attitudes, emotions and experiences. In
the philosophical context, love is a virtue that represents all the affection,
kindness and compassion of the human being. It can also be described as actions
directed towards others and based on compassion, or as actions directed towards
others (or towards oneself)
